Release notes

This release of ColumnControl is made alongside DataTables 3, upon which it depends.

There have been a couple of new features and bug fixes made in this release, since the previous beta, including a new info content type. Please refer to the specifics below.

New

  • State saving supports named columns now, allowing columns to be added and removed while still saving state of other columns (as long as they are named).
  • info content type which will show a tooltip providing extra information about a column without clutter the screen.

Fixes

  • If a date column type changes, ColumnControl will now update for the new type
  • When using state saving and date columns, a formatted date would not be correctly resolved
  • When DataTable.render.date() was used without moment or luxon on the page, date picker search would not work.
  • When setting value of a list button, perform clearing of active state as well as setting it
