Release notes

A patch release to address a number of issues that have come to light.

Fixes

  • Ajax response with 204 header should still result in a success callback
  • Allow UUIDs to be used as selectors for row() without throwing an error if a row is not found.
  • ready() could trigger on a parent table if there is a child table inside it
  • CommonJS loader, when a window object already exists, will no longer throw an error.
  • Initialisation via jQuery().dataTable() and then accessing the .api() method must return the DataTables API instance of the host table.
  • util.is.element() would throw an error if null was passed in
  • Typescript - In layout if an object based feature was used inside an array, Typescript would give an error (no runtime issue though).
  • Typescript - search, columns.search and searchCols didn't include a search property for the search to apply.
